Location and hours
Per the county's landfill page, the landfill is at 21101 Evergreen Mills Road, Leesburg (703-771-5500). It's open Monday to Saturday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., and closed Sunday. The main gate closes at 4 p.m., and everyone must be back at the scales by 4:30. A new traffic pattern began March 10, 2026, giving smaller loads direct access to the recycling and convenience centers while large commercial trucks take a separate route. Cash and cards (American Express, Visa, MasterCard, Discover) are accepted.

Disposal fees
Fees last went up July 1, 2025:
- Municipal solid waste: $78 a ton, $8 minimum
- Vegetative waste (under 3 feet across and 8 feet long, no plastic bags): $78 a ton, $8 minimum
- Construction and demolition, including mixed loads: $85 a ton, $8 minimum
- FastTrash: up to ten 33-gallon bags of household waste only for $8 per vehicle. No bulky items, construction waste, rubble, scrap metal, yard waste or surcharge items.

Surcharge items
These are added to the weight charge:
- Refrigerated appliance (fridge, freezer, A/C, dehumidifier): $30
- Propane tank: $5
- Car tire $10, truck tire $15, tire on a rim $30
Tires are accepted only from residential, government and nonprofit customers, with a limit of four a day.
Rules
- Only waste generated in Loudoun County is accepted. Commercial C&D loads need written proof of where they came from.
- Yard waste is accepted in paper bags only, not plastic.
- Land clearing debris, commercial dirt and rock, and tractor-trailer loads aren't accepted.
- There's a free mulch depot.
