- Summer (March to October): Monday to Friday 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday 8 a.m. to noon
- Winter (November to February): Monday to Friday 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Saturday 8 a.m. to noon
A $50 per half-hour fee applies if you're still unloading after closing.

What it takes, and what it doesn't
Brooks accepts waste from construction, remodeling, repair and demolition of structures, roads, sidewalks and utilities, plus tree debris and vegetation. Grass and leaves go to composting. Household garbage isn't accepted. Loads with garbage mixed in are charged $150 per ton ($100 minimum), and barrels cost $200 each. For household trash, Sedgwick County directs residents to its private transfer stations, which charge by weight.

- Secured load: $47.85 per ton. Unsecured load: $61.10 per ton.
- Minimum charge: $34
- Clean concrete, stone, brick, asphalt millings and clean dirt: no charge
- Mattresses or box springs: $20 each. Electronics: $50 each.
- White goods (Freon-free): $10 each. Freon items: $50.
- Car and truck tires: $10, plus $5 if on a rim
- Logs and stumps over 3 feet in diameter: standard fee plus $22 per ton
