For Simi Valley residents, WM's 2026 Free Landfill Days flyer and WM's 2026 Simi Valley service guide list four free landfill days, all on Sundays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.:

- October 18, 2026, the last one of the year
The flyer says residents of unincorporated Santa Susana Knolls use the Simi Valley dates. Moorpark, Thousand Oaks and Westlake Village residents have their own separate dates on the same flyer. Dates for 2027 hadn't been posted as of October 3, 2026.

Rules and what to bring
- Proof of residency, such as a driver's license or a waste and recycling bill with a Simi Valley address, according to the City of Simi Valley.
