The landfill is at 10300 N. Seaman's Gulch Rd., Boise. Hours are Monday to Friday, 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Only waste generated in Ada County is accepted. Everything crosses the truck scales, since the county accepts landfill waste by weight rather than volume.

Fees (from October 1, 2026)
From the county's Ada County Landfill fee page:
- General trash: $15 minimum for up to 1,035 pounds, then $34 per ton (up from $33)
- Tires: $5.25 each. If you bring only tires, you pay just the tire fee.
- Refrigerated appliances: $25.75 each. If you bring only those, you pay just the unit fee.
- Clean household cardboard: free, if you aren't dumping other trash
- Asbestos: $50 certification fee plus $50 per ton
- Certified deposits: standard fee plus $22 (call 24 hours ahead)
The county homepage also says some hard-to-handle items incur a $50 per ton fee. Work out heavier loads with the dump fee calculator.
Paying
Cash, check, Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, Venmo and Apple Pay are accepted. Card payments under $80 carry a $2 convenience fee, and payments over $80 carry a 2.4% fee. Cash or check avoids both.
Tips
- The 1,035-pound minimum covers most pickup loads of household junk, so it's usually $15.
- Haul tires or fridges on a separate trip if that's all you have. You'll avoid the general tipping fee.
- Asbestos needs certification. Read where to dump asbestos first.
- Secure the load. See covered-load rules.
